The Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Plant Operator / Maintainer to join our team in Yarraville on a 7 day rotating roster (7 Days, 7 Off, 7 Nights. 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am).
Working within a small team environment, you’ll play a key role in keeping the plant operating safely and efficiently across a 24/7 continuous operation. This multi-skilled, hands-on role combines control room operations, front end loader work, plant monitoring, preventative maintenance and basic laboratory testing.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring the slag mill via SCADA control systems
- Conducting routine plant inspections and identifying maintenance issues
- Completing preventative, shutdown and breakdown maintenance tasks
- Front end loader operation feeding raw materials into the reclaim system
- Assisting with dispatch, weighbridge and silo management activities
- Performing product quality testing ...
