The Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, under the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH), is seeking a Plumber and Steamfitter II. This opportunity will play an essential role in overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of fluid transmission systems, sanitary fixtures, and heating systems. Your responsibilities include supervising the installation and adjustment of hot and cold water lines, as well as ensuring the proper functioning of toilets, sinks, showers, and soil lines. You will estimate costs, order supplies, and maintain inventory to ensure seamless operations. Beyond your technical expertise, you will uphold safety standards, ensuring the use of prescribed safety equipment and compliance with safety protocols.
