Job Description

Plumber:

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Installing pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures (toilets, showers, sinks) for water, heating, and drainage.
  • Repair & Maintenance: Diagnosing, repairing, and replacing broken parts, such as leaky pipes, clogged drains, and malfunctioning water heaters.
  • System Testing: Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and functionality.
  • Blueprint Reading: Reading, interpreting, and following blueprints and building plans to determine pipe layout.
  • Tool Usage: Using, cleaning, and maintaining tools such as pipe cutters, welders, and wrenches.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
