Foothills Medical Centre Facilities, Maintenance & Engineering (FM&E) is seeking an experienced Plumber/Steamfitter to join our team. This role is critical to supporting patient care by ensuring the safe, reliable operation of hospital plumbing systems in accordance with applicable codes, specifications, and AHS standards. Responsibilities include emergency, corrective, and preventative maintenance; installation, repair, and troubleshooting of domestic water, sanitary and storm drainage, fixtures, pumps, valves, and backflow prevention devices, with involvement in steam and condensate systems that support hospital operations. Work is performed in occupied clinical and nonclinical areas, requiring a strong focus on safety, infection control, and minimal disruption to patient services.
