Essential Duties:
The Plumbing Lead (Foreman), motivates, monitors, and supervises a team of Plumbers to ensure they produce quality work. This position also provides technical guidance regarding the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of all aspects of plumbing systems and equipment
- Has advanced knowledge in plumbing/sprinkler systems and NYC DOB codes
- Oversees one jobsite at a time with a crew of at least four (4) people and a lead mechanic
- Can accurately order materials daily, in a timely manner, based on blueprints and/or scope of work provided
- Can plan workflow step-by-step based off blueprints
- Ensure job site is running on time and efficiently
- Ensures worksites are clean, organized, and safe
- Ensures employees are following safety procedures, guidelines, and reports when an employee fails to adhere to P&P
