Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has a passion for baking and pastry arts, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing, baking, and plating a variety of breads, cakes, cookies, and other desserts, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and bake a variety of house-made breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts according to restaurant recipes and standards.
· Maintain mise en place and ensure product freshness and quality at all times.
· Operate and maintain bakery and pastry equipment safely and efficiently.
· Monitor ingredient inventory, assist with ordering, and minimize food waste.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
