Job Summary
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for driving value creation across assigned portfolio companies post-acquisition. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution owning problem structuring, solutioning, and delivery oversight. The individual is expected to operate as a mini-CEO for their portfolio, ensuring initiatives translate into measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Ownership
- Own 1–2 portfolio companies end-to-end, across strategic and operational initiatives
- Act as the primary point of contact between portfolio company management and internal stakeholders
- Diagnose business issues and identify value creation levers (revenue growth, cost optimization, working capital)
Value Creation Execution
- Develop and drive 100-day plans and longer-term transformation roadmaps
