Basic Qualified Pharmacist Assistant – Dis-Chem Vryheid 2026 Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is looking for a Post Basic Qualified Pharmacist Assistant for its Princess Mkabayi store in Vryheid, Kwa Zulu-Natal. This is a permanent, full‑time role focused on providing high‑quality pharmaceutical care and supporting the dispensary team. Key Responsibilities Assist with the sale and dispensing of Schedule 1–5 medicines. Prepare, compound and re‑package non‑sterile medicines following SOPs. Assist with ordering medicines up to Schedule 6 under authorised instructions. Accurately interpret prescriptions, capture script details and verify patient information. Provide patients with clear instructions on medication use and explain medical aid costs. Maintain accurate stock records, report low stock, and participate in bi‑annual stock takes.
