Post-doc positions in statistics / ML at University of Helsinki

We are looking for post-docs in statistics or machine learning to work in the Research Centre for Ecological Change (REC). The positions are related to
- developing models and methods to integrate heterogeneous, but complementary, ecological and environmental data,
- developing predictive model comparison and assessment methods for extrapolative scenarios, and
- developing statistical theory and methods to plan cost efficient biodiversity monitoring programs.
Full description of the jobs is available online. REC is currently hiring in total 8 post-docs. Four of them should have a solid background in statistics or machine learning. REC will offer an excellent opportunity to work with challenging statistics with big impact.
