Post-Doctoral Associate in the Center for Astrophysics and Space Science – Dr. Andrea Maccio Description
The Center for Astrophysics and Space Science (CASS) at NYUAD is looking to appoint a Postdoctoral Associate.
The center currently consists of eight faculty members and more than 25 researchers and PhD students. The center is looking for one research fellow to work on the following topics:
- Numerical simulation of Radiative transfer
- Radiative transfer applied to proto-planetary discs
- Radiative transfer and spectra of galaxies.
The Center possesses the unique possibility to investigate fundamental questions in astrophysics, astroparticle physics, and planetary physics from several points of view, with the expertise of its members ranging from collecting and analyzing state-of-the-art data on the nature of the visible and invisible matter in the Universe, to detailed theoretical and numerical studies from plan...
