The appointee will be working in the HKUST Emotion and Personality Research Group () on projects related to emotion, the interface between large language models (LLMs) and mental health, and the relationship between personality and language.

The main job responsibilities include:

  • preparing research materials;
  • programming and monitoring online surveys;
  • managing data sets and performing statistical analyses; and
  • writing technical reports and contributing to research articles.

    • The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills; and the ability to show initiative and work independently. Familiarity with LLM and machine learning is a plus.

    For appointment as a Post-doctoral Fellow (Research Assistant), a PhD (bachelor’s) degree in psychology or related disciplines is required. (Duration: 1 year)
