Exciting position for postdoctoral fellows in chemistry at the PhD level are currently available at the University of Maryland, Baltimore in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Skills with organic chemistry and nanoparticle design, construction, and characterization particularly of liposomes is desirable. Expertise in adding functional groups and in radiolabeling is advantageous. Ability to characterize and test these is advantageous. In collaboration, this may include characterization in animal models. Other skills of interest include familiarity with imaging, such as with PET, MR, and optical imaging. The candidates will have the opportunity to work with others and independently, being responsible for literature analysis; experimental design, execution, and analysis; and manuscript writing and submission.
