Pay Range Qualifications A master’s degree in nursing with a Nurse Practitioner (NP) focus, or a master’s degree in nursing with a post-masters NP certificate, is required; a terminal degree is preferred. Teaching experience is preferred. Candidates must maintain current direct patient care practice in their area of NP certification and have a minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience.
