Job Description
The Particle Physics group at UPV/EHU ( welcomes expressions of interest from candidates willing to apply to the UPV/EHU Postdoctoral Call 2026.
Research lines of the group include:
- QCD theory/pheno – Miguel G. Echevarría, Andrey Sadofyev
- QCD experiment – Gunar Schnell
- Neutrinos & Cosmology – Ivan Esteban
The call offers 3-year postdoctoral contracts. Eligible candidates must have defended their PhD thesis no earlier than June 25, 2023, or be in a position to obtain the PhD within 6 months after the application deadline. Extensions of this eligibility window may apply in specific cases, such as parental leave or long-term sick leave.
The contract includes a mandatory stay abroad during the first phase of the contract, lasting at least 12 months and up to 24 months. Applicants must therefore have the support of a UPV/EHU scientific supervisor and group, as well as the acceptance of a host institution and sup...
