Details of Research Project:
The researcher will be engaged in translational cancer research projects focused on regulators of growth, survival and drug resistance of breast and other cancers, as well as their microenvironment, especially immune effectors. The researcher will use a broad range of approaches (genetic, cell biological and in vivo modeling) to understand how breastcancers, particularly triple negative breast cancers, resist chemotherapy treatments and metastasize. The projects also examine novel mechanisms that contribute to the growth and metastases of triple negative breast cancers.
