Job Description
Position Overview
The Postdoctoral Fellow will lead and contribute to advanced R&D on optoelectronic receiver hardware for a solar-powered optical wireless communication platform. The primary focus is the design, prototyping, and characterization of a dual-mode photodetector array, including the supporting front-end electronics and measurement workflows required to meet project milestones. The Fellow will work closely with the PI and project team, support integration with system-level prototypes, and provide technical mentorship to graduate research assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Design and prototype a dual-mode photodetector array suitable for optical wireless reception and energy-aware operation (as required by the project’s hardware work packages).
- Plan and execute electro-optical characterization, including responsivity, bandwidth, noise, dynamic range, linearity, saturation behavior, and temperature/aging sensitivity.
- Develop and va...
