Job Description

Are you interested in theoretical strong-field quantum optics and can you contribute to the development and application of theory for light-matter interaction in a new regime? Then the Department of Physics and Astronomy invites you to apply for a 3-year postdoctoral position. 

Expected start date and duration of employment

This is a 3–year position from September 1, 2026, or as soon possible thereafter. 

Job description

  • You will be contributing to developing and applying theory of interaction between light and matter within strong-field quantum optics
  • You will be involved in supervision of BSc, MSc and PhD students
  • These activities will be in close collaboration with the group members in the attosecond science group
