Job Description
We are seeking
a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the Dynamic Robot Systems Group, part of the Oxford Robotics Institute and the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. The post is funded by United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI) as part of the ACORN IAA and is for 12 months. A key focus of the work will be creating actionable output which end users can use to determine the state of a physical asset or facility over time. Accordingly this project will involve collaboration with our project collaborator, AtkinsRealis. The researcher will also contribute to ongoing collaborations such as with SNU Korea (Kim), Uni. of Pretoria (De Villiers) and Georgia Tech (Dellaert). The researcher should have a PhD/DPhil in robotics, computer vision, machine learning or a closely related field. You have an excellent academic track record in topics relevant to robot perception.
