About the position
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in Bioinformatics and Comparative Immunology, available at the Department of Biosciences.
Starting date as soon as possible.
The fellowship period is three years. A fourth year may be considered with a work‑load of 25 % which is devoted to other career‑promoting work, usually in the form of teaching, supervision duties, and/or research assistance. This is dependent upon the qualification of the applicant and the current needs of the department.
No one can be appointed for more than one Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Oslo.
Postdoctoral fellows who are appointed for a period of four years are expected to acquire basic pedagogical competency in the course of their fellowship period within the duty component of 25 %.
Place of work is Department of Bioscience in the new Life Science Building at Blindern, Oslo.
