Description The Pre-Underwriter is responsible for conducting a comprehensive pre-underwriting review of residential mortgage loan files before lender submission. This role acts as the first line of defense in identifying potential issues, validating income and assets, reviewing automated underwriting findings, ordering third-party services, and ensuring complete and accurate submissions to wholesale lenders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong mortgage knowledge, and enjoys solving problems before they become conditions.
