Job Description
Assist press operators with machine setup, production support, quality checks, bundling, and routine maintenance to ensure efficient press operation and high-quality output. This entry-level position offers training and advancement opportunities within the press department and may require shift changes as employees progress.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and operation of folders, stackers, and sheeters.
- Bundle folded signatures and stack banded or loose signatures on pallets using hoists when available.
- Monitor and replenish pallets, banding, and other production supplies.
- Perform minor machine adjustments and assist with press webbing when needed.
- Support make-ready activities, including cleaning blankets, changing ink, mounting plates/blankets, and general press cleanup.
