About the opportunity
Based in Wellington or Christchurch, you'll provide engineering support on primary assets (over 170 substations and more in the pipeline) across the Transpower fleet and use your technical expertise to provide technical solutions and undertake incident diagnostics on assets.
You'll ensure our approach to condition assessment, maintenance and replacement of grid assets is sound to help us meet our asset performance objectives.
Naturally curious, as the Asset Owners Engineer, you'll conduct thorough investigations and analysis into the root cause of station faults and asset failure working with our Service Delivery Managers, and lead change and improvement initiatives that minimise future asset risk.
