Job Description

Vivo HealthStaff is searching for a Primary Care Physician for a geriatric organization in North San Diego. This is a full-time position with salary and excellent benefits.
Specifics:

  • Full-time, permanent opportunity
  • 5-8 patients per day in an out-patient clinic
  • Monday-Friday schedule 9-5 pm with rotating telephone call schedule ( 5-6 week rotating telephonic only night and weekend)
  • Provide home or SNF visits as needed
  • The patient population is 100% geriatric primary care
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certification - Internal Medicine or Family Practice
  • Additional certifications in Geriatrics, Hospice and Palliative Care, Addiction Medicine or Pain are desirable but not required
  • Active CA physician license without restrictions
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training
