The KTS Group are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding group of specialist schools across the North west. We are seeking Primary SEND Teachers to become an intrinsic part of their exciting growth plans.
Role purpose: To deliver high-quality primary or primary-model teaching in a specialist SEND/AP setting, building safe relationships, adapting the curriculum around EHCP needs and supporting learners with autism, SEMH, ADHD, PDA-type profiles, communication needs and gaps in learning.
Core responsibilities
• Plan and deliver differentiated English, maths, phonics, reading and wider curriculum lessons for small groups.
• Use EHCPs, IEPs, behaviour support plans and assessment information to personalise learning.
• Create calm, predictable routines that support emotional regulation and readiness to learn.
• Work with teaching assistants, pastoral teams, parents/carers and school leaders.
