Principal Electrical Engineer – Port Crane Projects – DP World, Dubai, UAE.
DP World is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced port crane and terminal equipment projects. The role serves as a Subject Matter Expert and center of excellence for all electrical engineering activities, providing technical leadership and ensuring compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the electrical design and automation activities for port cranes, ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, ISO, and related standards.
- Oversee system upgrades for PLCs, drives, SCADA, and HMI systems across multiple crane models.
- Approve electrical design documentation, drawings, and cost estimates for major engineering projects.
- Conduct detailed design reviews of crane and port equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and operational reliability.
