Job Description
**What Contract Manufacturing Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health**
· Contract Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for developing manufacturing processes, production floor layouts and associated tools for external sourced finished medical devices per Cardinal Health specifications.
· Review new designs for manufacturability.
· Designs process improvements to reduce product cost, process cycle time and improved product quality.
**Accountabilities**
· Frequent travel visiting critical CMs multiple times per month on-site; regular on-site presence for others; requires approximately 50% travel within APAC
· Manage metrics targets with CMs; evaluate CM’s service, delivery, quality, compliance, and cost performance
· Establish robust tracking and reporting process, working cross functionally to ensure compliance with internal/external audit observation deadline or other regulatory commitments and monitor performance
