Principal Inspector
Roles & Responsibility
. Conduct routine and scheduled inspections of buildings, machinery, equipment, and infrastructure
. Identify wear, damage, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues
. Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports
. Recommend corrective actions, repairs, or replacements
. Verify that maintenance and repair work meets quality and safety standards
Requirements
At least 5 years' experience in bridge / building design / construction and/or structural inspection / maintenance works.
A Civil Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineer (PE) Board or equal-ant
Sufficient knowledge in British Standards and Advise Notes, SS Euro-code Standards and the National Annexes, other prevailing codes, regulations, and Standards that set out the requirements guidance on the Inspection of Highway Structure and/or Standards and Advice Note from other countries
