Job Description

An exciting opportunity in Cambridge for an  Principal   Optical Engineer  working on the development of quantum information systems.

As the  Principal   Optical Engineer  you will have a strong focus on designing optical setups for optimizing quantum optical devices, this engineer will bring experience and expertise to the team with potential growth into management responsibilities.

Skills necessary:

  • PHD in Physics, electronic engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience developing optical microscopes
  • Experience in free space and fibre optical systems
  • Experience with tools such as MATLAB, Zemax and Python
  • Excellent personal/communicational skills to be able to work with a highly collaborative
