Defines the future of existing platform(s) and/or the need of new platforms to drive Performance, Quality and Cost. Creating platform strategy per (sub)category, she/he has a pivotal role in maximizing value potential and innovativeness of platforms, following business priorities and Product category strategy.

Stretches existing platforms or designs new platforms (performance / cost / quality) that will be the base for new coming product projects in each category. Responsible for performance / quality / cost of components, module & assemblies applied on platform, by working with Product Project manager and leader to validate it. Understands how to optimize the full value potential. Defines needed improvements and oversees their executions.
