Department: Production Engineering

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that the Manufacturing standards and customer specifications in Production are defined and adhered to.
Responsibilities
- Elimination of waste
- Drive ME Improvement objectives by analysis of lost time using the relevant problem-solving techniques.
- Monitor & reduce scrap (by means of but not limited to the TQM process)
- Ensure all agreed improvements are timeously planned and implemented.
- Standardize all Processes
- Drive improvement targets through the ME and TQM processes, with the intention to reduce downtime and cost of poor quality.
- Ensure Improvement Targets to Budgets are met.
