Prison Officer – HMP Elmley
Location: Eastchurch, Sheerness, Kent. Full‑time, part‑time or job share roles available for a 39‑hour week. Starting salary ranges from £37,246 a year for 37 hours up to £41,503 a year for 41 hours, including any additional allowances.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain safety and security within the prison.
- Build constructive, professional relationships with prisoners.
- Support colleagues as part of a single team to keep everyone safe.
- Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Provide a range of services such as peacekeeping, counselling and teaching.
