**What Radiology contributes to Cardinal Health**
Diagnostic Imaging uses advanced technology to create images of internal body structures, helping to assess clinical conditions and support diagnosis and treatment. This includes CT scans.
This is a PRN position to help with weekday coverage needs in the clinic.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues
+ Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
+ Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes
+ Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
+ Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
+ Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
+ Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
