Job Description
Receives direction from Nurse Manager, Physician, Team Lead and Registered Nurses. Is supervised by registered nurses and physicians. Works cooperatively with members of the nursing staff, physicians, managers and support staff. Interacts professionally with patients and treats them with dignity and respect.

The procedural support assistant is an integral member of the procedural team and assists with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or physician in the Department of Pain Medicine. The procedural assistant provides patient support and follows through with the designated plan of action as directed by the physician.
