1. Role Overview
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality composite products with maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Process Development & Optimization
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes (quality, yield, cost)
- Monitor process performance (SPC, throughput, scrap reduction)
- Implement Lean / Six Sigma initiatives
- Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and resolve production issues on the shop floor
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support process improvement and cost reduction programs
- Documentation & Standards
- Prepare manufacturing documentation (WI, BOM, control plans)
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 / quality systems
