Purpose
Responsible for establishing process steps to produce in‑house‑made parts and meet customer expectations concerning quality, lead time, cost, and technological needs. Process Engineer drives improvements in process methods to enhance performance and output.
Key Responsibilities- Establish process steps to produce in‑house‑made parts and meet customer expectations in terms of quality, lead time, cost, and technological needs, without compromising health and safety.
- Create process routing (work instructions) & BOM in ERP, and prepare an Inspection Method Sheet (IMS)/checklist.
- Read and interpret 2D drawing, 3D model and customer specifications on drawing.
- Ensure process routing is ready for both the first article and volume production.
