Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and fault find on plant instrumentation e.g. PLC, Drives, etc.
- Ensure that all projects and modifications meet required specifications and deadlines by managing projects, adjudicating quotes, and ensuring compliance with required specifications and OSHAct.
- Become an integral part of future planning on the site, recommending methods that will improve the end product, justifying the purchase of the best equipment, and determining the life span of electronic equipment and plans for replacement.
- Understand and own plant classifications by checking existing systems, classifying new equipment, and re-classifying own equipment when required to focus maintenance on critical equipment and maintain correct spares and stock levels.
