The Role
We are seeking a Process Safety Engineer to join a high-performing manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. This is a site-based, Monday‑Friday role within a highly regulated chemical / pharmaceutical environment.
In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of process plant activities, supporting a robust process safety management system and contributing to major hazard risk reduction.
You will work closely with engineering, operations, and EHS teams to provide technical expertise, risk assessment leadership, and regulatory compliance support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support compliance with COMAH 2015, DSEAR, ATEX, and process safety management systems
- Contribute to the development and updating of COMAH Safety Reports
- Participate in and help lead process hazard analysis (HAZID, HAZOP, HAZ 0-7)
