Build a sourcing strategy (local & international) to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and inventory.
Manage risks related to raw materials, suppliers, global regions, and economic changes.
Create sourcing plans to ensure consistent supply at the best price and quality.
Track price trends, new products, and processes.
Find new suppliers and streamlined methods to lower costs, improve service, or boost quality.
Set procurement methods, quality standards, and supplier qualification criteria.
Perform cost analysis and set benchmarks.
Work with project teams on procurement for new product development.
