About the Role
We are looking for candidates with 5-8 years relevant work experience in the Procurement Department of a Shipping Company for the Procurement Executive (Buyer) role.
Responsibilities
- To manage end to end support of Procurement for allocated ships which involves:
- Enquire and seek quotations from registered vendors.
- Compare quotations once received and make proposals for approval.
- Issue Purchase orders.
- Follow-up Purchase orders till delivery.
- Invoice booking into the system and passing to accounts.
- Support any queries in the above process from Enquire to payment.
- Comply to Company defined Procurement Policies and Procedure.
