Responsibilities
- Formulate strategies around upstream/downstream procurement: Planning, Execution, Review, Renewals, Procurement Excellence.
- Serve as business partners to Business Units Heads / HODs, and stakeholders to understand needs and define short- and long-term business priorities.
- Oversee procurement day-to-day activities, manage timelines, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and monitor progress to goals.
- Present in-depth reviews of critical procurement proposals to leadership for approval.
- Drive sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and procurement contract management.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements.
- Develop sensitivity models (change in material costs, supply risk) to proactively manage P&L volatility.
