Job Description
Oversee the company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain. Responsible for strategic sourcing -finding and evaluating suppliers, products and services, negotiating contracts and acquiring the most cost-efficient methods without compromising on quality. Responsible for vendor interactions and maximize their value.
Detailed Responsibilities- Execute, and negotiate procurement related functions (e.g. develop and implement contract management, procurement frameworks, sourcing strategies, negotiate agreements, manage vendor contracts etc.)
- Development of new suppliers to ensure there are alternate sources of supply for each item. Source materials to reduce the cost without affecting the quality
- Regular audit of the suppliers – a supplier price history database to capture and assess the supplier’s service, quality and price performance
