Procurement Manager (Grapes)

We require a competent and experienced Procurement Manager with a technical background and experience of table grapes.

Minimum Requirements

1. Grade 12


2. Related Diploma/Degree


3. At least 5 years experience with table grapes - essential


4. Procurement experience


5. Advanced technical knowledge of table grapes (varietals, standards and post harvest handling)


6. Able to travel when needed

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with the sales team to develop, implement and manage the procurement strategy.
  
  
  
  • Procure products according to pre-season plans and sales requirements.
  
  
  • Coordinate with the sales team and suppliers to ensure availability against planned volumes.
  
  
  • Source new suppliers and products that support the sales offering.
