Our client is a global (EPC) company specializing in hydropower and renewable energy ventures worldwide. They boast a portfolio of over 3 GW in installed solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity. Their current undertaking is a 240 MW solar PV project scheduled to commence in May, situated in the Free State region. They are building out their team in Cape Town and are looking for a Procurement Manager. 2 year contract.
CANDIDATES MUST COME FROM A SOLAR PV BACKGROUND. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company's goals and objectives in the solar industry. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
