Purpose
As a Project Specialist, you will be a Procurement focal for all delivery and quality aspects for a defined group of suppliers, production cells and customer programmes, responsible for coordinating and managing Procurement activities to achieve two key objectives; enable operational flow and achieve customer (programme) delivery milestones.
Working cross-functionally will be a key success factor for this role, with support and attendance essential at production cell daily stand‑ups and regular customer (programme) reviews. In addition, collaborating closely with Commodity buyers will be a fundamental element of the role, to ensure the Project Specialist is fully enabled and empowered to identify and mitigate delivery risk, and manage and resolve delivery issues, across ACS UK OEM and AFM (Spares) demands, in a thriving NPI production environment.
