- Ensure market business needs are effectively integrated into procurement category strategies
- Define requirements and lead the process of identifying, qualifying, evaluating, and selecting suitable suppliers
- Conduct negotiations with key suppliers, leveraging global volumes
- Act as a subject matter expert in local requirements (legislation, culture, supply base) and spend management
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Implement category policies in line with operational guidelines
