Position Overview
Newstalk ZB is looking for a Lifestyle Radio Producer to head our Weekend Collective programme on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. This is a fixed‑term, part‑time maternity leave position.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce entertaining radio segments covering politics, finance, health, parenting, property and related topics.
- Coordinate talent, contributors and content for weekend airtime.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills and a deep understanding of news and current events.
- Good political awareness and the ability to identify popular topics.
- Excellent industry contacts.
- Comfortable taking direction while confidently backing own decisions regarding talent and content.
- Background in journalism and preferably broadcasting experience.
