This position is for an Internal Propulsion Thermal Systems Engineering (IPTSE) Design and Release(D&R) Engineer on Ford’s V6 Nano Engine Powerpack Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for design and release activities associated with base engine components, exhaust and air inductions systems on current and forward model applications.
**What you'll do…**
+ Design, develop and release ICE subsystem and components which meet program requirements and timing in accordance with Ford GPDS milestones.
+ Lead / Support resolution of all design, manufacturing, quality, and launch issues.
+ Create, complete, and approve supplier and Ford engine DVPs and oversee testing in support of robust validation.
+ Lead Sub System CPMT activities.
+ Support all program meetings (EPMT, Design Review, DPMT, change control, etc.).
+ Lead drawing release and changes.
+ Interface with Calibration, mating components, Purchasing, suppliers,...
