Job Description
We are looking for a talented Product Functional Test Mechanical Technician to join our team specializing in Engineering for Cummins in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom.
This is a permanent position, working hours per week, Monday to Friday on-site.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Prepare, assemble, and dismantle test articles for evaluation, including initial build, instrumentation installation, and final teardown in accordance with engineering standards.
Conduct detailed component analysis within the Components Service area, focusing on AfterInService (AIS) warranty returns from supported Business Units.
Screen component warranty claims using various mechanical and electronic test tools, identifying failure modes through structured parts analysis.
