Job Summary
The Product Mechanical Designer Engineer is responsible for designing and delivering robust, manufacturable mechanical solutions for HP products from concept through production. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams (Industrial Design, EE, Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers) to ensure design intent is met while achieving cost, schedule, reliability, and user experience targets.
What a Product Mechanical Designer Engineer Does At HP
Designs and develops mechanical components and subsystems for consumer and/or commercial products, including plastics, sheet metal, and electro-mechanical assemblies, from concept through production. Translates industrial design concepts into robust, manufacturable mechanical designs that meet product requirements for cost, quality, reliability, and performance.
