SUMMARY:
The Production Control Intern will work under the direction of the Sr. Director Manufacturing on production planning and production control for manufactured products. Will work cross-functionally with all areas including the Supply Chain, Demand Management, Manufacturing, Logistics & Distribution and Finance teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General and Task Management
Study and map out the relationship amongst components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies both within an ERP environment to eventually translate a pegging tree relationship to a production planning environment Evaluate exiting process to match raw materials and production capacity to optimally meet demand and suggest improvement opportunities Assist in scheduling production orders in accordance with the demand outlook from the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning...
